I'm looking into getting a new CPU and I'm curious about the Intel Core i9-13900F vs the i9-11900K for gaming. Has anyone had experience with these or can recommend one over the other?

To add to what @Statolith said, there's an article on TechReviewer that goes into detail about these two CPUs. You can find the article Intel Core i9-13900F vs. Intel Core i9-11900K.

Both CPUs are great for gaming, but the 13900F has some advantages like a higher single-core max turbo boost frequency and more core counts which could give it an edge in certain games.

Yeah, I've been using the i9-11900K for awhile now and it performs pretty well. I don't notice any major bottlenecks when gaming, but I do have a high-performance cooler.

That's super useful! It looks like the refresh rate is 144Hz, which seems like it'd be great for gaming.

I've been using the i9-13900F for a couple of months now and it's really made a difference in my gaming experience. The extra cores have allowed me to run more demanding games at higher settings without any issues.

That sounds amazing! Is there anything else you'd recommend when choosing between these two?

For me, the decision came down to the increased core count and single-core max turbo boost frequency on the i9-13900F. I also like that it supports DDR5, which gives you more options for upgrading your system in the future.

Good points @Aeonosis. Ultimately, it comes down to what you personally need and prefer. Both CPUs are capable of delivering excellent gaming performance with a high-performance cooler.
