I'm trying to decide between the Intel Core i9-11900K and the i9-10900KF for my new gaming PC build. Any advice on which one would be better for me?

Both of those CPUs are great options! The main differences between them are their core counts, frequencies, and PCIe support. The 11900K has 8 cores while the 10900KF has 10 cores.
I'd recommend checking out TechReviewer's article Intel Core i9-11900K vs. Intel Core i9-10900KF for a more in-depth comparison. It covers things like single-core turbo frequency, DDR support, and more.
Thanks for sharing that link, @lunalikeslasagna. So based on the article, would you say that having more cores is better or does it depend on specific use cases?
It really depends on your specific needs. For gaming, having a higher single-core turbo frequency can be beneficial, especially in fast-paced games. However, more cores can help with multitasking and running resource-intensive applications.
I've been using the 11900K for a while now, and I must say it's great for gaming. The higher refresh rate makes a huge difference in gaming, especially during fast-paced matches like Apex Legends. The resolution is also great for immersive gaming experiences.
That's good to know, @seriousdolphin. But what about the 10900KF? How does it compare in terms of performance?
I've also used the 10900KF and found it to be excellent as well. The higher base frequency is a plus, and it has more cores which can help with multitasking or running resource-intensive applications.
It's important to consider your budget too. The 11900K might be a bit pricey compared to the 10900KF, but you'll get better performance in certain scenarios. The choice ultimately depends on what you value most in your gaming experience.
Thank you all for the input! I think I need to read that TechReviewer article again and make an informed decision based on my personal preferences and budget.
