I'm looking to buy a new gaming PC and am trying to decide between the Intel Core i9-10900 and the Core i9-9900K. Has anyone here used either of these CPUs in their systems? Any advice would be great!
Intel Core i9-10900 vs. 9900K: Best for Gaming?

Yeah, I've been using the 9900K for a while now and it works fine for me. For gaming, I didn't notice any significant difference between this CPU and my previous one (a Ryzen 7 3700X). The 9900K does have some overclocking capabilities which might be useful for some people.
I've been using the i9-10900 for a couple of months now. It's definitely faster than my old CPU, but I can't say I noticed a huge difference in gaming performance compared to the 9900K. That being said, the higher core count and base frequency might be useful for specific use cases like content creation or video editing.
Hey guys, you might find this TechReviewer article Intel Core i9-10900 vs. Intel Core i9-9900K helpful. It provides a more in-depth comparison between the two CPUs and talks about their performance in different scenarios. I found it quite informative!
Thanks for sharing that link, @Camick17! From what I've read so far, both CPUs seem to offer good gaming performance. The 10900's higher core count and base frequency could be a deciding factor for me. Does anyone have any experience with the PCIe support on these CPUs?
I haven't had any issues with PCIe support on my 9900K. However, the article @Camick17 linked suggests that both CPUs have limited PCIe 3.0 support which might not be ideal if you plan to use high-end components like SSDs and GPUs.
That's true, I've also faced some issues with PCIe support while using the i9-10900. It's something to keep in mind when choosing between these two CPUs.
Alright, so it seems both CPUs have their pros and cons. The 9900K has better overclocking capabilities while the 10900 has a higher core count and base frequency. I'll definitely take the PCIe issue into account as well. Thanks for all the input!
