Intel Core i7-9700K vs i5-9400F for Gaming?

I've been researching CPUs for my new gaming PC and I'm torn between the Intel Core i7-9700K and the Intel Core i5-9400F. Can anyone share their experiences or advice? I've heard the 9700K is better overall, but what's the difference in real-world performance?
