I'm looking to build a new PC and can't decide between the Intel Core i7-13700K and the i5-10600K. Any advice on which one would be better for gaming?

Both processors are great, but the i7-13700K has more cores and higher frequencies, making it better suited for multitasking and content creation tasks. However, the i5-10600K is still a good option if you're on a budget.
I've been using the i7-13700K for a while now, and it's fantastic for gaming! The additional cores give me a huge advantage in CPU-intensive games, and the higher frequencies keep everything running smoothly.
To add to what @ClarknAddison said, there's an article on TechReviewer that does a great job of comparing these two processors. It might help you make your decision. Check it out at Intel Core i7-13700K vs. Intel Core i5-10600K.
Thanks for sharing the link, @erock0138. I'll definitely read that article. So, if I'm mostly going to use my PC for gaming, would you say go with the i7-13700K?
If gaming is your primary concern, then the i7-13700K will probably give you better performance due to its higher core count and frequencies.
That being said, the i5-10600K can still handle most games well enough if you're not doing anything too demanding. It all comes down to your budget and how much of a performance boost you want.
Good points from both of you. The i7-13700K seems like it would be better for gaming, but I'm worried about the price difference. I might have to save up a little longer if that's the case.
You're right, @TheShepardOfLight. The i7-13700K is more expensive, but you'll also need a high-end GPU to take full advantage of its performance. So in some ways, it might be a trade-off between CPU and GPU costs.
That's true, @erock0138. It's important to consider the overall system cost when deciding which processor to get. Don't forget about other components like RAM, storage, and cooling solutions too!
Great advice, everyone. I'll need to think about my budget and what other components I want to get before making a final decision.
Thanks for all the input! I feel like I have a better idea of what to look for now. Hopefully, I can get everything set up soon.
