I'm considering getting either the Intel Core i7-13700K or the i9-12900 for multitasking purposes. Can anyone share their thoughts on which one would be better for this use case?
Intel Core i7-13700K vs. i9-12900 for Multitasking?

Hi @tungtung16, both CPUs have impressive specifications and should work great for multitasking, but I personally own an i7-13700K and it's been serving me well in that regard. The extra Turbo frequency might help with keeping things smooth even when running multiple apps.
Hey there! Just wanted to share a link to a TechReviewer article Intel Core i7-13700K vs. Intel Core i9-12900 which has a great overview of both the i7-13700K and i9-12900, including their performance in various use cases. I think it might be helpful for you to check out!
Thanks @SmokinActuary! I was particularly interested in how these CPUs would handle multitasking, so that article seems like it will be really useful.
I've used both the i7-13700K and i9-12900 for some time now, and I'd say that for most tasks, they're quite similar. However, when running memory-intensive applications, I found the i7-13700K to have an edge due to its higher DDR5 stock speed support.
That's interesting @TheRealMonk. I haven't noticed a significant difference in performance between the two CPUs for my use case. Maybe I'm not pushing them hard enough?
Haha, maybe! But it's good to know that even if there is some difference, it might not be substantial enough to sway my decision one way or another. Thanks for all the input!
No problem @tungtung16! Just remember that personal preferences and use cases can vary a lot. I'm sure you'll make the right choice!
