I've used the i5-12600K for a while now, and it works perfectly fine for my gaming setup. The Intel Core i7-13700K vs. Intel Core i5-12600K provides detailed insights on their performance in games.

Both are great CPUs! I have the i7-13700K and it's been working fine. You can check out this comparison in TechReviewer Intel Core i7-13700K vs. Intel Core i5-12600K.

Thanks, that was really helpful. The single-core max turbo boost frequency of the i7-13700K seems impressive.

Yeah, but remember the i5-12600K has a good single-core max turbo boost frequency too at 4.90 GHz. I'm using it and I haven't faced any issues.

That's true. What about their performance in games?

As @Livinglifelite mentioned, both are great for gaming, but the i7-13700K does have an edge due to its higher single-core max turbo boost frequency and more cores.

Solution

Thanks everyone. It seems like both are good choices, but the i7-13700K's higher base frequency might be beneficial for me.

That's right, it all comes down to your specific needs and preferences. Both CPUs will serve you well for gaming.

Absolutely! Just make sure you have a good cooling solution regardless of which CPU you choose.

Definitely! And don't forget to consider other factors like budget, future upgrades, and the type of games you play most often.

Great points. Thanks for all your insights!
