I'm in the process of building a new computer and need some advice on which CPU to choose for video editing. I've been looking at the Intel Core i7-13700F and the Intel Core i9-12900KF, but I can't decide which one would be better for my needs. Has anyone had experience with these two processors? Any recommendations?

Both of those CPUs are great choices for video editing! I personally use the i7-13700F and have been quite happy with its performance.
Yeah, I've used both and found that the i9-12900KF offers better overall performance, especially in tasks like rendering and exporting videos. Plus, it has a higher base frequency which can make a difference in certain workloads.
I'd also recommend checking out TechReviewer's article Intel Core i7-13700F vs. Intel Core i9-12900KF for a more detailed comparison of these two processors. It covers their performance in various scenarios, including video editing.
That's helpful, thanks! From what you all have said, it seems like the i9-12900KF might be the better choice for me. However, I'm on a bit of a budget and was hoping to keep costs down if possible. Would anyone recommend getting the i7-13700F instead?
If you're on a budget, the i7-13700F is definitely a great option. It offers excellent performance for video editing and can save you some money compared to the i9-12900KF.
That's true. The i7-13700F is more than capable of handling most video editing tasks. It all depends on your specific needs and budget.
I appreciate the advice! Based on what everyone has said, I think I'll go with the i9-12900KF for now. But if things get tight financially, I can always switch to the i7-13700F later on. Thanks again!
