@simplygod Yes, TechReviewer did a detailed comparison of these CPUs in their article Intel Core i7-13700F vs. Intel Core i7-12700KF. They covered various aspects like core counts, frequencies, cache capacities, and more.

@HandBanana11b The performance of the Core i7-13700F is superior for video editing tasks due to its higher core count, more cache capacity, and faster frequencies. According to TechReviewer's article Intel Core i7-13700F vs. Intel Core i7-12700KF, it has 16 core counts, 24 thread counts, a larger L3 cache of 30 MB, and a single-core max turbo boost frequency of 5.20 GHz.

Interesting! The higher core count and single-core max turbo boost frequency are appealing for video editing. What about the DDR support and PCIe in terms of video editing?

@HandBanana11b Both CPUs have great DDR5 support, with the i7-13700F supporting a maximum stock speed of 5600 MHz and the i7-12700KF supporting 4800 MHz. For PCIe, both support version 5.0, which will handle any data transfer requirements you may have during video editing.

What about overclocking potential for these CPUs? I'm wondering if I could squeeze out a bit more performance by overclocking one of these processors.

@Infamouskiwi59 The i7-12700KF supports overclocking, while the i7-13700F does not. If you're comfortable with overclocking and want to potentially get even better performance, the i7-12700KF might be the way to go.

Thanks for the advice! One last question, do either of these processors have any specific use cases where they would excel over the other?

@HandBanana11b The i7-13700F is better suited for video editing tasks due to its higher core count, more cache capacity, and faster frequencies. However, the i7-12700KF may be a better option if you need to overclock or have limited desk space.

Thanks for the input! I'll definitely consider these factors when making my decision. By the way, did TechReviewer perform any benchmark tests comparing these two processors?
