I've been looking into getting a new CPU, and I'm trying to decide between the Intel Core i7-13700 and the i7-10700K. Anyone have any experience or thoughts on these two?

I've used the i7-10700K before and it's pretty good for gaming. The base frequency is higher which can help with multitasking and some games that are CPU-intensive.
I've been using the i7-13700 recently, and I must say it's a beast! It handles everything I throw at it with ease. The 16 cores really make a difference for gaming and other applications too.
You guys might find this article helpful in making your decision. Intel Core i7-13700 vs. Intel Core i7-10700K It gives a detailed comparison of the two CPUs in terms of core types, frequencies, cache capacities, overclocking, PCIe, and DDR support.
Thanks, @Starshin3. That was an insightful read! The performance differences between the two are quite clear. I'm leaning towards the i7-13700 now, but still have some questions for you, @seriousdolphin and @SociallyAwkwardGent.
No problem, @TricksterAce. To answer your question, while the base frequency of the i7-10700K is higher, the 16 cores on the i7-13700 allow it to perform better in many scenarios. I believe you'll be more than satisfied with the i7-13700 for gaming.
@TricksterAce, I agree with @seriousdolphin. The extra cores and support for PCIe 5.0 make the i7-13700 a great choice for future-proofing your system. Plus, it handles games at ultra-settings without breaking a sweat.
Just remember that both CPUs are excellent choices, and it ultimately depends on your specific needs and budget. If you can afford the i7-13700, I'd say go for it, but if not, the i7-10700K is still a solid option.
Thanks for the input everyone! I think I'll probably go with the i7-13700, as my wallet allows it. Hopefully, it won't disappoint me in-game!
