CPU INTEL 12700K 12400F

I've been looking into getting a new CPU for content creation and was wondering if the Intel Core i7-12700K is better than the Intel Core i5-12400F. I've heard some good things about the i7, but not sure if it's worth the extra dough.

Thanks, @OlympianDWill. That's really helpful. I didn't know the i7 had more cores and a bigger cache. What about overclocking potential? And what about DDR support?
