Intel Core i7-12700K vs. i7-11700K in Gaming

I'm currently looking for a new CPU and I'm trying to decide between the Intel Core i7-12700K and the Intel Core i7-11700K. Can anyone share their experiences or advice on which one is better for gaming? I've seen that the 12700K has more cores and a bigger cache, but how much of an impact does that make in real-world performance?
