Interesting! Thanks for the input, @Joaolicia. I came across an article on TechReviewer comparing these two CPUs. Check it out Intel Core i7-12700F vs. Intel Core i7-11700K if you're interested!

I recently upgraded to a 12700F, and it's been performing great in video editing tasks. The higher single-core max turbo frequency really helps with rendering and exporting videos.

That's good to know, @Joaolicia! And thanks for sharing the article, @AeroTheSoldier. The article says that the 12700F has a slightly lower base frequency but compensates with better DDR support and PCIe 5.0 compatibility, making it well-suited for professional tools.

I've used both CPUs in my projects, and I must say that personal preference plays a significant role in choosing one over the other. The 11700K has its advantages like overclocking support, but if you're looking for better DDR support and PCIe compatibility, the 12700F is the way to go.

That's true, @qualiagirl. For me, the decision came down to budget constraints. I opted for the 11700K since it was more affordable, and it still delivers great performance in video editing tasks.

Thanks everyone for your input! It seems like both CPUs are capable of excellent performance in video editing, but personal preferences and budget constraints may influence the choice.

One thing to consider is that the TechReviewer article Intel Core i7-12700F vs. Intel Core i7-11700K provides a comprehensive comparison of these two processors. It might help you make an informed decision based on your specific needs and priorities!
