CPU INTEL 11700F 11700

I'm considering getting either the Intel Core i7-11700F or i7-11700. Can you give me some insights on which one would be better for gaming? Any advice would help!

Hey @DukeofUruguay, both CPUs are quite similar and should offer good performance for gaming. The main differences are that the 11700F has DDR4 support with a max stock speed of 3200 MHz and PCIe 4.0, while the 11700 does not have Performance cores and lacks support for overclocking.

A high-performance CPU cooler is definitely important to maintain stable frequencies while gaming. Both CPUs should work well with a decent cooler, but you may want to consider a more robust solution if you plan on overclocking or using the 11700F.
