@RhythmSpark If you have the budget for it, I would go with the Core i7-11700F. I've been using one for a while now, and it handles my gaming needs perfectly. However, if you're on a tighter budget, the Core i5-10600K is still a great option. Well, it really depends on your budget and what kind of games you're playing. Generally speaking, the Core i7-11700F has more cores and a higher single-core turbo boost frequency, so it should perform better in most scenarios.

That's helpful information. The i7-11700F seems like it would offer better performance overall, but I'm concerned about the price difference. Any suggestions on how to make up for the lower performance of the i5-10600K?

I think you should prioritize your needs and budget. If you can afford the i7-11700F without breaking the bank, it's definitely worth the extra cost. However, if money is a concern, the i5-10600K still offers solid performance and overclocking support.

@RhythmSpark @vangogeo I agree with what you said. Also, another factor to consider is the graphics card. If you have a high-end GPU, even the Core i5-10600K will perform well in most games. The choice really depends on your specific needs and budget.

Alright, I'll take all of this into consideration. I appreciate your advice! How about you guys? Have any personal experiences with these processors in gaming?

I've used both the i7-11700F and i5-10600K for gaming, and I can say that the i7-11700F has been a clear winner for me. The extra cores make a huge difference when playing demanding games or running multiple applications at once.

Yeah, I've used both as well, and my experience was similar to @Mitch1008. The i7-11700F definitely offers better performance in most scenarios, but the i5-10600K isn't far behind. It's still a great processor for gaming if you're on a budget.
