I'm in the process of setting up my new computer and I'm trying to choose between the Intel Core i5-14600K and the Intel Core i9-13900KF. Both seem like great CPUs, but I can't decide which one would be better for video editing. Has anyone here had experience with either of these processors?

I've used both the i5-14600K and i9-13900KF for video editing, and I can tell you that the i9 is definitely superior in my experience. It has a higher core count, thread count, and L3 cache capacity which makes it more suitable for handling larger workloads and multitasking scenarios that are common in video editing workflows.
@HarvestSweet, do you have any specific TechReviewer article Intel Core i5-14600K vs. Intel Core i9-13900KF where they compare these two CPUs? I remember reading an interesting comparison there.
Thanks for the input, @HarvestSweet. And yeah, @vanessasublime, a link to that TechReviewer article would be really helpful!
@trosalio, @HarvestSweet, and @vanessasublime, I've also been using the i9-13900KF for video editing, and it's made a huge difference compared to my previous i5 setup. The higher single-core max turbo boost frequency is particularly great for quickly rendering and exporting videos.
@trosalio, I'd go with the i9-13900KF based on my experience too. It handles 4K video editing without any issues, whereas the i5-14600K starts to show its limitations in such scenarios. Plus, the better overclocking support on the i9 is a nice bonus.
@vanessasublime, here's the TechReviewer article you were looking for Intel Core i5-14600K vs. Intel Core i9-13900KF. It gives a detailed comparison of the two CPUs, including their performance in video editing tasks.
Thanks for sharing that link, @HarvestSweet. After reading the article and all these personal experiences, I think I'll go with the i9-13900KF for my setup. The extra power should make a difference when working with 4K videos and other demanding projects. Thanks everyone!
