Intel Core i5-14600K vs. i7-12700K Performance

I'm looking for some advice on choosing between the Intel Core i5-14600K and i7-12700K for my next build. Has anyone had experience with these CPUs? Any recommendations would be appreciated!

@Battlehonk I've been using the Core i7-12700K for a while now, and I must say it's fantastic! The higher core count and cache size make it great for professional tools. However, I don't have personal experience with the Core i5-14600K.

I recently upgraded to a Core i5-14600K, and it's been working well for gaming and general app use. It handles most tasks smoothly, but I did notice a slight bottleneck when running some more intensive applications.

I've done some research on both CPUs, and based on my findings, the Core i7-12700K seems to have an edge in terms of overall performance. However, it's also more expensive than the Core i5-14600K.
