I've read a great article about this. You can check it out here Intel Core i5-14600 vs. Intel Core i7-13700. The author did an extensive comparison of these two CPUs and their performance in various tasks.

Sure thing! For content creation tasks, the Core i7-13700 is more suitable due to its higher core count (16) and larger L3 cache (30 MB). It also has better overall performance.

That's really helpful, thanks! The L3 cache size seems to be a significant factor, but what about other factors like overclocking support or DDR support?

Good question. Both the Core i5-14600 and Core i7-13700 lack support for overclocking, so that won't help improve performance. As for DDR support, they both offer DDR5 with a max stock speed of 5600 MHz, which should be more than enough for most content creation tasks.

I've been using the Core i5-14600 for some time now and it's been working great for me. The single-core turbo boost frequency is quite impressive at 5.20 GHz.

That's good to know! So, would you recommend sticking with the Core i5-14600 or should I upgrade to the i7-13700?

It really depends on your budget and specific needs. If you can afford the i7-13700 and think you'll need the extra power for content creation tasks, then it's definitely worth considering. But if you're working with a tighter budget, the Core i5-14600 should still provide good performance.

I'd also like to add that the article Intel Core i5-14600 vs. Intel Core i7-13700 goes into more detail about these CPUs' performance in different use cases, so it might be helpful for you to check it out.
