I'm trying to decide between the Intel Core i5-14500 and the i9-10900K for my new PC build. Can anyone provide some insight on which one would be better for me?

@ProfessorElm For me, running 3D simulations and rendering videos are where the i9-10900K truly shines. The extra cores and higher base frequency make a significant difference in performance for these types of tasks.

I've also used the i5-14500 for some light video editing, and it handled it pretty well. However, if you're planning on doing more intensive video work or 3D rendering, the i9-10900K would likely be a better choice.
