I've been looking at getting a new CPU and wondering if the i5-13600K or the i3-13100 would be better for gaming. Can anyone here share their experiences with these CPUs?

If you're looking for a comparison, there's an article that goes into detail about these two CPUs on TechReviewer. Intel Core i5-13600K vs. Intel Core i3-13100 It covers everything from core types and cache capacities, all the way up to overclocking support and DDR5 speeds.

I've used both, and for me the i5-13600K was much better in terms of performance. I also noticed that it handled heavy loads more efficiently.

Yeah, I have to agree with @suratmommy. The i5-13600K has a significantly higher core count and better single-core max turbo boost frequency which really helped when playing some more demanding games.

That's true. I remember having to upgrade my GPU just because the i3-13100 wasn't able to handle some newer games at higher settings.
