I've been doing some research, and I found this article that might be helpful for you. It goes into detail about how the i7-14700K outperforms the i5-13600 in gaming scenarios. You can check it out here: Intel Core i7-14700K vs. Intel Core i5-13600. Hope it helps!

Both CPUs are great choices, but if you're looking to game, the 14700K will likely give you better performance due to its higher core count and better single-core max turbo boost frequency. The additional cores should help with managing tasks like physics calculations and asset loading in games.

Yeah, I agree with @RambooPanda. And don't forget about the larger L3 cache on the 14700K! That can make a big difference when it comes to overall performance.

Wow, thanks @Wallabuba! That article is really insightful. So it looks like the 14700K's higher core count and larger L3 cache do make a significant difference in gaming performance.

Yeah, but I'd also consider other factors such as overclocking support and DDR support when making your decision. The 14700K has better support for both of these, which could further improve its performance.

Good point, @RambooPanda. Thanks everyone for the advice! I'll definitely take all this information into account when choosing between the i5-13600 and i7-14700K for gaming.
