I've been looking at the Intel Core i5-13600 and the i5-11600 for my next build. Can anyone share their thoughts on these two?

If you're interested in learning more about these CPUs, there's an article on TechReviewer that compares them in detail. Intel Core i5-13600 vs. Intel Core i5-11600 You might find it helpful!

The 13600 is a beast! It's got more cores and a higher turbo frequency which should make it great for gaming, but I'm not sure if that extra power would be necessary for my needs.

Yeah, the 11600 seems like a safer option. It's been serving me well so far, and I don't think I need the extra oomph of the 13600.

Thanks for sharing, @Chreativ! The article seems to indicate that the 13600 has better overall performance due to its higher core count, L3 cache, and support for DDR5. However, both CPUs should be capable of providing good performance for general use cases.

That's interesting! I guess it really depends on what you're using your computer for. For me, gaming is the priority, so the extra power of the 13600 might be worth it in my case.

Same here, @conrob95. I'm building this computer for gaming as well, so the additional cores and frequency on the 13600 could make a difference in my frame rates.

Makes sense! It's always good to know your priorities before making a decision. Thanks for the insights, everyone.
