Solution

Thanks for the recommendation, @CptRavioli. The article you linked seems very comprehensive. Based on your experience, would you say the i5-9600K is better for gaming?

I've recently upgraded my system and got the i5-13500. It's a fantastic choice for gaming! The higher core count definitely makes a difference in some games.

I've been using both CPUs, and it really depends on the game you're playing. Some games benefit more from the extra cores of the i5-13500, while others perform better with the overclocking capability of the i5-9600K.

That's interesting to hear, @kajsaunicorn. So, there isn't a clear winner between these two?

Based on my experience, I'd say that the i5-9600K is slightly better for gaming due to its higher base and turbo frequencies. However, the i5-13500 can outperform in games that utilize multiple cores more effectively.

Thanks for the insights, everyone. I'll have to do some more research and testing before making a decision. It's great knowing that there are options out there!

No problem, @rljohns2017. Just remember that personal preferences and game requirements play a big role in choosing the right CPU.

Absolutely! Good luck with your decision, @rljohns2017.
