I've been looking at the Intel Core i5-13500 and the i5-9600K for video editing, but I'm not sure which one is better. Does anyone have any experience with these processors or some recommendations?
Intel Core i5-13500 vs. i5-9600K for Video Editing Performance?

Hey @NicholaiStone, both of those CPUs should work well for video editing. However, the Core i5-13500 has a higher core count and larger L3 cache, which can help improve performance in video editing tasks.
That's right, @Livinglifelite. Also, the i5-13500 supports PCIe 5.0, which is ideal for fast SSDs and graphics cards. I recently read an article about this comparison on TechReviewer. Check it out at Intel Core i5-13500 vs. Intel Core i5-9600K for more details.
Thanks, @HarlemRobeSpotter. That's really helpful! I didn't know that the i5-13500 has a larger L3 cache and PCIe 5.0 support.
I've been using both of these processors for video editing, and I can say that the Core i5-13500 is definitely better. The additional cores and faster storage support made a huge difference in my workflow.
Glad to hear it, @Sampledoubt. I was thinking of getting an i5-9600K, but maybe I'll reconsider after reading your experience.
It's worth noting that the choice between these two processors depends on your specific needs and budget. Both CPUs can be good for video editing, but the Core i5-13500 has some advantages if you need faster storage support and a larger L3 cache.
Thanks for all the advice, everyone. I'll take a closer look at the TechReviewer article Intel Core i5-13500 vs. Intel Core i5-9600K to make my final decision. Appreciate your input!
