Thanks for the info @Wallabuba! I did not know that the i9-13900F had better integrated graphics. But does having more cores really make a noticeable difference in gaming or other graphic-intensive tasks?

The additional cores do help, but it's not always a significant improvement. For most games and applications, having a good GPU is still much more important than the CPU. However, if you're looking for better performance with integrated graphics, then the i9-13900F would be the better choice.

Yeah @smartmilk, that's true. Having a powerful GPU will always give you better performance. But in situations where you don't have access to an external GPU, having better integrated graphics can make a difference.

So I guess it really depends on my specific use case then? If I know I'll be using an external GPU most of the time, would the i3-14100 still be a good option?

It's worth considering your specific needs. If you mostly need the computer for general tasks and don't plan to do much gaming or graphic-intensive work, the i3-14100 should serve you well. But if you're looking to future-proof your system or want better performance in all scenarios, then go for the i9-13900F.

That makes sense @jonahcarlson. I think I'll go with the i9-13900F just to be on the safe side. Thanks for all the help!
