I'm looking for recommendations on the best RAM to pair with my new Intel Core i3-12100T CPU. Any suggestions?
Intel Core i3-12100T RAM Recommendation?
Started by Jhodges315 on July 10, 2024
I've been using a Corsair Vengeance 4800 MHz DDR5 RAM with my Intel Core i3-12100T and it's been working great! The performance is excellent, and it's handled everything I've thrown at it so far. You can check out more details in this article Best RAM for the Intel Core i3-12100T CPU.
That sounds like a great choice! Thanks for the recommendation, @thatgrungekid. I'm leaning towards getting that one myself. How has the latency been on yours?
I have tried both Corsair Vengeance DDR5 and G.Skill RipJaws S5 DDR5 RAM with my Intel Core i3-12100T CPU. Both were good, but I personally prefer the G.Skill for its higher clock speed. It's great for gaming and other intensive tasks.
That's interesting! So both of you have had positive experiences with these two options. @thatgrungekid, did you consider the G.Skill RipJaws S5 as well?
I didn't really look into the G.Skill RipJaws S5, to be honest. I just went with the Corsair Vengeance because it was more popular and had a lot of good reviews. But now that I know you guys have had success with the G.Skill one too, I might give it a try next time!
Just wanted to jump in here and say that I've been using the Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM for my Intel Core i3-12100T CPU, and it's been serving me well. It's not as fast as the DDR5 options you guys mentioned, but it gets the job done without breaking the bank. Check out the TechReviewer article Best RAM for the Intel Core i3-12100T CPU if you want to know more about my experience.
Thanks for the input, @IgnisDeveloper. I appreciate your opinion on the Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM. It's good to know that there are affordable options available too. However, I'm leaning towards getting a DDR5 RAM since it seems to offer better performance overall.
I agree with @Jhodges315. If you're looking for the best performance, going with a DDR5 RAM like Corsair Vengeance or G.Skill RipJaws S5 is probably the way to go. But if budget is a concern, the Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM might be a good alternative.
Yeah, I'd second that. It ultimately depends on your needs and preferences. If you're willing to spend a bit more for better performance, then definitely go with the higher clock speed DDR5 options. But if budget is an issue, the Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM should work just fine.
Thanks everyone for the advice! I'll take some time to consider my options and make a decision. It's great to know there are so many good choices out there!
