I've been trying to find the input lag times for the Samsung Q80A TV when using an HDMI connection. Has anyone got any experience with this or found any information on it? I'm particularly interested in gaming and would like to know if there are any noticeable delays.

According to TechReviewer's article HDMI Capabilities of the Samsung 85" Q80A TV, the Samsung Q80A has a game mode that significantly reduces input lag times, making it an excellent choice for gamers. The exact input lag time can vary depending on whether you're using HDMI 2.0 or HDMI 2.1 ports and the connected device.
I've been using my Q80A for gaming and haven't noticed any significant input lag issues. The game mode really does make a difference, and my experience has been smooth so far. However, I did have to adjust some settings to get it just right for my preference.
@ridders103 Thanks for sharing your experience! It's good to know that the Q80A performs well in gaming situations. How did you adjust the settings for a better gaming experience?
I haven't personally used the Samsung Q80A, but from what I've read, the Motion Handling and Game Mode settings can be adjusted to reduce input lag. You might want to experiment with these settings to see if they improve your experience.
@trowerend That's helpful advice! Thanks for the tip. I'll definitely try tweaking those settings and see if it makes a difference in my gaming experience.
@AmbraCRO Don't forget to check out TechReviewer's article HDMI Capabilities of the Samsung 85" Q80A TV for more information on input lag times and settings for the Samsung Q80A. It can be really helpful when optimizing your setup.
Another thing I've noticed is that using an HDMI 2.1 cable makes a difference in terms of speed and performance. If you're looking to improve your gaming experience, it's worth investing in a good quality HDMI cable.
@ridders103 Good point! I'll look into getting an HDMI 2.1 cable for my setup. Thanks for all the advice, everyone!
