Hi @Splugeten! I've been using the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 4800 MHz (32 GB, 2 x 16 GB) with my G7400T for a while now, and it's been working great. You can check out this review here Best RAM for the Intel Pentium Gold G7400T CPU. The performance boost has been noticeable in gaming and multitasking.
Thanks for the recommendation, @MotiVEsports! That does sound like a good option. I'm also considering the G.Skill RipJaws S5 5200 MHz RAM since it's got even higher clock speeds. Do you think that would be a better choice?
Hey @Splugeten, I've used both of those options and I'd say go for the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 4800 MHz. It strikes a great balance between performance and compatibility. The G.Skill RipJaws S5 5200 MHz is faster, but you might encounter compatibility issues with some older games or software.
That's helpful to know, @AwakenedGogeta. I'm leaning more towards the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 now. By the way, have you had any experience with the DDR4 RAM options? Are they worth considering?
Hi @Splugeten! I recently upgraded my rig and went with the Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 MHz DDR4 (32 GB, 2 x 16 GB). It's a decent choice if you're on a budget or don't need the extra speed of DDR5. The performance is good for everyday use and casual gaming, but it might not be enough for more demanding tasks.
Thanks for your input, @newasianinvestor. I think I'll go with the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 4800 MHz based on everyone's recommendations. It sounds like a great match for my Intel Pentium Gold G7400T CPU!
Great choice, @Splugeten! Enjoy your new RAM, and let me know if you have any questions about it later.
Good luck with your upgrade, @Splugeten. If you ever need any advice on future components, feel free to reach out!
