Ideal Monitor Mount for Dell SE2422H?

Started by SonOfJame on June 17, 2024

I recently bought a new Dell SE2422H monitor and am looking for a monitor mount that would work best with it. Can anyone suggest some good ones?

Yes, you're right! Based on your monitor's specs, I found a great article on TechReviewer that discusses some top monitor mounts for various monitors. Here's the link: Monitor Mounts & Stands for Dell's 24" SE2422H. It might be helpful for you to check it out.

The VESA size of the Dell SE2422H is 100 x 100 mm, right? That's important when choosing a compatible mount.

Solution

Thanks, @ethinker! I'll definitely give it a read. Are there any specific recommendations based on my monitor's VESA size and weight?

From my experience, one of the best options is the HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount. It supports monitors with a VESA size up to 100 x 100 mm and a max weight of 22 lb.

I agree with @Stuffedbunny. The HUANUO mount is great for its price and stability. Another option could be the AVLT Single Monitor Arm Desk Mount, which can hold monitors up to 43 inches in size and weighs up to 33 lb.

That's really helpful! Thanks a lot, guys. I think I'll start with the HUANUO mount since it seems more budget-friendly. But if I decide to go for a bigger monitor later on, the AVLT mount would be a great option too.

Just one quick question - does anyone know how easy or difficult it is to install these mounts? I'm not really tech-savvy and don't want something that's too complicated to set up.

The HUANUO mount is pretty straightforward to install. It uses a C-clamp, so you just need to attach it to your desk and tighten the screws. The AVLT mount uses a grommet, which might require drilling a hole in your desk if there's no existing one, but it shouldn't be too difficult.

I'd also recommend checking out the Ergotron HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Desk Mount if you're looking for something that offers more adjustability. It's a bit pricier, but it could save you some space on your desk and provide better ergonomics.

Thanks again for all the advice! I'll take a look at these mounts and see which one suits my needs best. Fingers crossed installation doesn't turn out to be too tricky!

Good luck with your search, @SonOfJame! And remember, if you're ever in doubt, there's always the TechReviewer article Monitor Mounts & Stands for Dell's 24" SE2422H that @ethinker mentioned earlier. It has a lot of useful information and reviews for different monitor mounts.
