I've been using my Ryzen 7 1700 CPU with a Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) 3600 MHz DDR4 RAM and it's really impressed me. The higher frequency definitely helps with content creation and video editing, but it's not necessary for gaming. Just something to consider! I've been using a Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) 2666 MHz DDR4 RAM for quite some time now, and it's working great for me! You can find more info about it in this TechReviewer article Best RAM for the AMD Ryzen 7 1700 CPU. It has ample memory for gaming and other tasks.

That's awesome to hear, thanks! I'm trying to decide between 2666 MHz and 3200 MHz. What are your thoughts on the higher frequency?

I went with a 3200 MHz RAM, but honestly, I didn't notice any significant difference compared to my old 2666 MHz one. The higher frequency might be nice for some, but it's not a game-changer in terms of performance.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I'm starting to lean towards the 2666 MHz option now. Just curious, what kind of tasks are you using your 3200 MHz RAM for?

Wow, that's interesting! I didn't realize there could be such a difference between 2666 MHz and 3600 MHz for specific tasks like content creation and video editing. Thanks for sharing your experience, @BillFromAccounting7!

Yeah, it really depends on the workload you have. If you're mainly using your computer for gaming, then 2666 MHz should be more than enough.

Alright, I think I'll go with the 2666 MHz option based on the feedback. Thanks everyone for the insights!

No problem! Good luck with your build, and don't hesitate to ask if you have any other questions in the future.
