I've been looking at the Intel Core i9-14900 and i7-11700K CPUs, both for gaming. Wondering if anyone here has experience with these and can help me make a decision. I'm leaning towards the i7-11700K, but I'm curious to know what others think.

I've used the i9-14900 in my current rig, and it performs amazingly well for gaming. The higher core count really makes a difference, especially in CPU-heavy games. But if you're on a budget, the i7-11700K is a great choice too.
Yeah, I'm currently running an i7-11700K, and it's been serving me well for gaming purposes. The lower core count might be a downside compared to the i9-14900, but you can always get a better GPU if needed.
Just wanted to share this TechReviewer article I found comparing these two CPUs. It goes in-depth on their features and performance, including overclocking capabilities, DDR support, and PCIe speeds. Intel Core i9-14900 vs. Intel Core i7-11700K You might find it helpful!
Thanks for sharing, @mnnice99. That article was really insightful! Based on the information there, it seems that both CPUs have their strengths and weaknesses. I'm now leaning more towards the i9-14900 because of its higher core count and PCIe 5.0 support.
Good choice, @ZoomFresh. The i9-14900 does offer some advantages in terms of raw processing power and future-proofing for PCIe upgrades. However, if you're mainly focused on gaming, the i7-11700K might still deliver excellent performance with a high-end GPU.
True! I've always been satisfied with my i7-11700K, but then again, I didn't need those extra cores or faster memory speeds. It all depends on your specific needs and budget.
Absolutely, @michaelnabil. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide which CPU will suit your requirements better. Just make sure to read some user reviews as well before making a decision.
Thanks for the advice everyone! I think I'll keep looking into both options and see which one fits my needs and budget best. Appreciate all the input!
