I've been researching some new CPUs and came across the Intel Core i9-10900 and i7-10700. Can anyone tell me if either of these would be a good choice for content creation?
i9-10900 vs. i7-10700 for Content Creation?

Both the i9-10900 and i7-10700 are great choices, but I'd lean towards the i9-10900 for content creation. The extra cores and larger L3 cache size will help with parallel processing tasks which are common in content creation.
I've heard that the i7-10700 is a solid choice as well. It has some good specs like a higher base frequency, but it might struggle more when handling large datasets due to its smaller L3 cache size.
In terms of content creation, the i9-10900 comes out on top with its 10-core processor and larger L3 cache. A recent TechReviewer article Intel Core i9-10900 vs. Intel Core i7-10700 discusses how these two CPUs compare, especially in the context of content creation tasks.
Thanks for the input! So if I'm frequently working with large datasets or processing video and audio files, would the i9-10900 be more beneficial?
That's correct, @Mlksviper. The extra cores on the i9-10900 will make it better suited for those tasks. However, keep in mind that both CPUs have limited overclocking support and PCIe 3.0 compatibility, which may impact their overall performance potential.
Yeah, but I think you'll find the i7-10700 to be more than capable for most content creation tasks, especially if you're on a budget. It's not as powerful as the i9-10900, but it still delivers good performance.
True, @cherrypopover. The i7-10700 is also a reliable option for content creators who don't frequently work with massive datasets or need the extra processing power of the i9-10900.
So I guess it really depends on my specific needs and budget. Thanks to all for your insights!
