I used the Enermax Liqmax III 360 with my i7-14700 and it worked great! It was really quiet and kept my CPU cool under heavy load. You can read more about it here: Choosing the Best CPU Cooler for Intel's Core i7-14700.
I've also had good luck with the Noctua NH-D15 air cooler on my i7-14700. It's a bit quieter than some of the liquid coolers, and it doesn't take up as much space in my case. Plus, it comes with those fancy fans that last forever.
Thanks for sharing your experiences! Both solutions seem promising. Are there any downsides or things to keep in mind when choosing between these two?
One thing I've noticed with liquid coolers is that they can leak over time, but the Enermax Liqmax III 360 has been reliable so far.
That's true. And air coolers can be a bit noisier under full load compared to some liquid coolers. Also, air coolers might require more frequent cleaning to maintain optimal performance.
Good points! It seems like both options have their pros and cons. I'll need to think about my budget and case size while making a decision.
Yeah, it really depends on your specific needs and preferences. Both Enermax and Noctua coolers are reliable choices for the i7-14700.
Absolutely! Just make sure you choose a cooler that can handle the peak TDP of 219 watts to ensure optimal performance.
I appreciate your insights. I'll go read more about those coolers on TechReviewer's article Choosing the Best CPU Cooler for Intel's Core i7-14700 and then decide which one suits me best.
