I'm trying to decide between the i5-13400F and i7-9700K for multitasking, and was wondering if one is better than the other. Does anyone have experience with these CPUs?

Yeah, both are great for multitasking! I use the i5-13400F and it works fine for me. There's a good article with an overview of them at Intel Core i5-13400F vs. Intel Core i7-9700K. You might find it helpful.
Thanks for sharing that link, @slipstream55! I've been using the i7-9700K, and it handles multitasking quite well. The higher base frequency and larger L3 cache make a difference in my experience.
That's good to know. So, based on your experiences, would you say the i7-9700K is superior for multitasking?
Well, @AstroColton, I think it depends on your specific use case. The i5-13400F has a higher base frequency and larger L3 cache, which can be beneficial in some scenarios.
I'm leaning towards the i7-9700K due to its better support for overclocking and PCIe 3.0. However, the i5-13400F's DDR5 support with a max stock speed of 4800 MHz is tempting!
Those are good points, @two-feathers. I'll definitely need to weigh the pros and cons before making my decision.
And remember, personal preference plays a big role too. Make sure to do some more research and see which one you're most comfortable with. Good luck!
