Absolutely! I recently read an article on TechReviewer that discusses the best power supplies for different components, including the Intel Core i5-11600 CPU. You can find it here Choosing the Best Power Supply for Intel's Core i5-11600 CPU. It might be helpful for you to check it out.

Sure! The Intel Core i5-11600 has a peak power consumption of 154 watts at its maximum turbo boost frequency. You should consider choosing a power supply that can support this wattage to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

That's true, but you also need to take into account other components in your system like graphics cards, motherboards, storage devices, and fans. It's important to make sure the chosen power supply can meet the demands of the entire system.

Solution

Thanks for sharing that link, @Reeznov43! What about adding a buffer of 100-150 watts? I've heard that's a good practice when choosing a power supply.

That's a great suggestion. Adding a buffer can help accommodate unexpected increases in power usage or future component additions, ensuring more reliable system stability.

It's also important to consider the efficiency rating of the power supply. Higher efficiency ratings like 80 PLUS Gold or Platinum can result in lower energy consumption and heat generation while improving overall system reliability.

Thanks for all the advice! I'll definitely keep these factors in mind when choosing a power supply for my new computer.
