HP 27u vs. HP 27i GPUs - Which Is Superior?

I'm in the process of building my new gaming PC and I'm trying to choose between an HP 27u and HP 27i monitor for it. I've heard that the GPU performance can impact how well these monitors perform. Can anyone help me out?
