HP 23.8" VH240a for Gaming?

Hi @Skyylegend, I've actually used the HP 23.8" VH240a for gaming, and it works pretty well! The TechReviewer article Is the HP 23.8" VH240a Good for Gaming? gives an in-depth analysis of the monitor. It has a good response time of 5ms which makes fast-paced games more enjoyable. However, its color capability is only 72% SRGB, so you might not get the best color accuracy for gaming.
I've used it for some casual gaming and found it to be decent. The resolution is okay, but I did notice that it could use a higher refresh rate for smoother gameplay. If you're on a budget, it's a good option.
Thanks @andrewmcdonough and @OlympianDWill for sharing your experiences! So the response time is good but not great for fast-paced games, and the color accuracy isn't perfect. I'm also concerned about the refresh rate. What do you think about the resolution? Is it enough for gaming?
The 1920x1080 resolution should be fine for most gamers, especially if you're mainly playing less graphically demanding games. However, if you're into high-quality graphics and plan to play a lot of recent releases, you might want to consider a higher resolution monitor.
That's useful information. So overall, the HP 23.8" VH240a is decent for gaming but has some limitations. I think it really depends on my specific needs and budget. Thanks for the advice!

Good point @qualiagirl. Comfort is definitely something I'll look into. Thanks again for all the advice!
