Well, I've been using an ABC123 monitor and it works great! You can check out Is the HP 23.8" V24i G5 Good for Gaming? for more details.
The color capability of 72% NTSC might be a downside for some gamers. Also, the resolution could be better, as higher resolutions like 1440p or even 4K are available for bigger screen sizes.
Thanks for your input! I didn't know about the color capability issue. What do you think about the refresh rate and response time? Are they good for gaming?
The refresh rate of 75 Hz is decent, but it's not as high as some other options out there. The 5 ms response time should be fine for most games, though.
I've tried the HP V24i G5 and found that it works well for casual gaming, but if you're into competitive gaming or want a more immersive experience, you might need something with higher refresh rates or better resolution.
Yeah, I agree with @Brushybill1. It's not bad for casual gamers, but if you want to compete at a higher level, it might not cut it. Also, the screen size could be bigger for a more immersive experience.
Just wanted to mention that TechReviewer has an article discussing the HP 23.8" V24i G5 monitor and its suitability for gaming. You can find it at Is the HP 23.8" V24i G5 Good for Gaming?. It's pretty informative, so you might want to check it out!
