I'm considering getting a soundbar for my Hisense 85U7K TV and was wondering if you have any recommendations. I've seen some good reviews on the Sony HT-A5000 and Polk Audio Signa S4, but not sure which one to go for.

The Sony HT-A5000 is pretty great! It's my current soundbar, and I must say that it really enhanced my TV watching experience. The surround sound quality is top-notch.
Yeah, I've also heard good things about the Polk Audio Signa S4. It's a bit cheaper than the Sony HT-A5000, but still offers great audio quality.

Thanks for sharing that link, @DonCoscarelli1! I'll definitely check it out. Based on what @Milkopilko and @Moose1956 said, it seems the Sony HT-A5000 might be a better fit for me since I'm looking for an upgrade in surround sound quality. What about HDMI support, though? Does anyone know if my Hisense TV supports ARC/eARC?
Yes, your Hisense 85U7K does support eARC! You can find more information on our website or by checking out our article: "What are HDMI ARC and eARC? Are HDMI ARC Cables Different?".
Awesome! Thanks for the clarification, @Milkopilko. I think I'll go with the Sony HT-A5000 then. The surround sound quality seems to be worth the extra cost. Now I just need to figure out how to connect it to my TV...
If you have any questions about connecting your new soundbar, feel free to ask! I had to do some research when I set up my Polk Audio Signa S4.
That's great to know, @Moose1956. I appreciate the offer of help. I'll probably connect it using an HDMI cable for optimal audio quality. But is there anything else I should keep in mind while setting it up?
Just make sure your soundbar and TV are both set to the same audio format, like Dolby Atmos or DTS:X. Also, don't forget to update the firmware on your soundbar if there's an available update.
Alright, thanks for all the advice! I'll get started on setting up my new Sony HT-A5000 soundbar soon. Fingers crossed it delivers the immersive audio experience I'm hoping for!
