Anyone here have experience with the Hisense 65U8K TV and its HDMI ports? I'm particularly interested in knowing if it supports HDMI 2.1, VRR, and eARC.
Hisense 65U8K HDMI Specs?

I've been using my Hisense U8 Series Mini-LED TV for a while now. It has two HDMI 2.1 ports and two HDMI 2.0 ports. I haven't encountered any issues with the HDMI connectivity so far.
That's good to hear, @Klonebros. So, does your Hisense U8 Series Mini-LED TV support Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC)?
I can confirm that my Hisense U8K TV supports both VRR and eARC. I've been using it with a PS5 and Xbox Series X, and the experience has been great.
Thanks for the input, @blondeinboise. By the way, check out this TechReviewer article about HDMI 2.1 features on the Hisense U8K TV. It's really insightful: HDMI Capabilities of the Hisense 65" 65U8K TV
@Klonebros,@blondeinboise and @starwyvern, your experiences are very helpful. I'm glad to hear that the U8K TV supports HDMI 2.1, VRR, and eARC. Can you guys also comment on the refresh rate of this TV? And is there a recommended HDMI cable for it?
Sure, the Hisense 65U8K has a native refresh rate of 144 Hz, which I find works really well for gaming and watching sports.
I second that. The 144 Hz refresh rate makes a huge difference when playing fast-paced games. As for HDMI cables, I've been using the Anker 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable (6.6 ft) with my TV and it works great.
That's an excellent recommendation, @blondeinboise. The Anker cable is known for its quality and performance. If you're looking for another option, the Monoprice 8K 48Gbps Certified Braided Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable is also a good choice.
Great suggestions! I'll probably go with either the Anker or Monoprice cable. Thanks to all of you for your insights on the Hisense U8K TV's HDMI capabilities and performance.
@Darcksage, remember that the best HDMI cable won't make up for a poor setup. Make sure you have everything else configured correctly as well. Good luck with your new TV!
