I recently bought a Hisense 65U75K TV and I'm having some trouble understanding the HDMI port capabilities. Does anyone know if it supports eARC? Also, what are the best cables to use with this TV?
Hisense 65U75K HDMI Port ARC Features?
Started by CaptainObvious92 on June 12, 2024
Hi @CaptainObvious92, welcome to the forum! The Hisense 65U75K does support Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC), which means you can enjoy high-quality audio formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. As for HDMI cables, TechReviewer recommends the Anker 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable (6.6 ft) and the Monoprice 8K Certified Braided Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable. These cables are designed to handle high resolutions up to 10K and support faster refresh rates, providing you with the best possible viewing experience. Hey @CaptainObvious92! Nice TV purchase. The Hisense 65U75K has two HDMI 2.0 ports and two HDMI 2.1 ports. I'm not sure about VRR, but you can check out this TechReviewer article that discusses the HDMI capabilities of the Hisense 65U75K in more detail: HDMI Capabilities of the Hisense 65" 65U75K TV
I've been using my Hisense 65U75K for a while now and it supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) too. This feature is great for gaming as it eliminates screen tearing and input lag. So yeah, you can definitely use VRR with your TV!
Awesome, thanks @alexfish! That's good to know about the VRR support. I'll check out those HDMI cables that @jonnybravo76 recommended. Thanks everyone for the help!

I just got my Hisense 65U75K yesterday and I'm really impressed with it so far. The picture quality is amazing and the sound is great too. I also appreciate that it supports both eARC and VRR. Just a quick question for @CaptainObvious92 - which HDMI cable did you end up getting?
Hey @cocoabeachbrews, thanks! I went with the Anker 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable (6.6 ft) based on @jonnybravo76's recommendation. It seems to be working well so far.
That's a good choice, @CaptainObvious92. I used the Monoprice 8K Certified Braided Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable with my Hisense 65U75K and it's been great too. It's always good to have options though!
I'm thinking of upgrading my TV soon and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me? I've been considering the Hisense 65U75K but I'm not sure if it's worth the investment.
