Based on TechReviewer's article Best Soundbars for the Hisense 50" 50U6H TV, the Klipsch RP-600M and Elac DEB 2.2 are both excellent choices for rear speakers.

I've heard good things about the Sony HT-A5000. It's a great choice for the Hisense 50U6H.

The Polk Audio Signa S4 is also worth considering. It's slim and has Bluetooth support.

Thanks for your suggestions! I'm leaning towards the Sony HT-A5000, but I need to check if it supports ARC/eARC. Can anyone help me with that?

Yes, the Sony HT-A5000 does support eARC, which should work well with your Hisense 50U6H.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. One more question - does anyone know if the soundbar has a dedicated subwoofer output? I'd like to add a separate subwoofer for more bass.

The Sony HT-A5000 doesn't have a dedicated subwoofer output, but it does offer compatibility with wireless subwoofers. You might want to check out their GWX850 model.

How about adding a pair of rear speakers? I've found that they can greatly enhance the sound experience in my room.

That's a great idea! Do you have any recommendations for which rear speakers to get?

Solution

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely look into those options. By the way, does anyone have experience with using HDMI pass-through with a soundbar? Is it worth it?

Yes, HDMI pass-through is definitely worth it if you plan on connecting devices like Blu-ray players or gaming consoles directly to your soundbar. It makes everything much more streamlined and convenient.

Great, thanks for the advice! I'll make sure to consider HDMI pass-through when choosing a soundbar. I think I'm ready to pull the trigger on the Sony HT-A5000 now!

That's a good choice! You won't be disappointed with it. Good luck with your setup!

Thanks everyone for all the help and advice! I'll keep you posted on how my new soundbar and potential rear speakers perform.
