Higher Refresh Rate: 32UN880-B or 32UL950-W?

I'm in the market for a new monitor and I've narrowed down my choices to the LG 32" 32UN880-B and LG 32" 32UL950-W. I know both have a refresh rate of 60 Hz, but does that make them too slow for gaming? Can anyone share their experience with these monitors?

That's true. I've been using the LG 32UN880-B for a while now, and I must say it's fantastic! The higher refresh rate makes a huge difference in gaming, especially during fast-paced matches like Apex Legends. The resolution is also great for immersive gaming experiences. I've used both of those monitors personally, and they're great for general use. For gaming, though, I think you'd want something with a higher refresh rate. A 60 Hz monitor should be okay if you don't play many fast-paced games, but it might feel a bit sluggish in titles like COD or Overwatch.

Thanks for your input, everyone! So, based on what you've said, it sounds like I should go with a monitor that has a higher refresh rate if I plan to play lots of fast-paced games?

Exactly! A higher refresh rate will give you smoother gameplay and less motion blur. It's definitely worth considering if you're serious about gaming.

I have the LG 32UL950-W, and it works great for me. The color accuracy is amazing, and it handles HDR well too. But if you play a lot of fast-paced games, you might want to consider something with a higher refresh rate. It's definitely something to think about when choosing your next monitor.

So, what would you recommend then? Should I go for the 32UN880-B because it has a higher refresh rate or the 32UL950-W because of its great color accuracy and HDR handling?

It really depends on what's more important to you. If you prioritize smooth gameplay and fast response times, the LG 32UN880-B might be the better choice. But if you need great color accuracy for work or watching movies, then the LG 32UL950-W could be a better fit.

Yeah, it's all about finding the right balance for your needs. If gaming is your primary concern, go with the higher refresh rate. If you want to use the monitor for other tasks too, consider the color accuracy and HDR handling.

I'll think about it some more and make my decision. Appreciate all the advice!
