Hey, I'm building a new computer and need some advice on getting the right high-end PSU for my GTX 1660 Ti GPU. Any recommendations?

That's really useful information! I hadn't even thought about the efficiency of a PSU before. The article Choosing the Best PSU for Nvidia's GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPU has definitely helped me understand what to look for. Thanks!

The GTX 1660 Ti doesn't require a high-end PSU, but it's still important to calculate total output power requirements for other components and account for potential overclocking. A power supply with an 80 PLUS certification indicates higher efficiency. Modular and semi-modular power supplies are recommended for better cable management. Have you checked the article Choosing the Best PSU for Nvidia's GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPU that discusses this in detail?

Solution

Yeah, make sure you take into account all your components and any possible overclocking when choosing your power supply. I recently built my own PC and had to do some research on this too.

I just wanted to share my experience with a high-end PSU. I used the EVGA SuperNOVA G5 Series Fully Modular Power Supply (220-G5-0650-X1) for my GTX 1660 Ti build, and it's been working great! I had no issues with power or efficiency.

That sounds like a good choice! How has the efficiency and performance been in your setup?

The efficiency is excellent, and there hasn't been any issue with power supply. It's also modular which makes cable management a breeze. Overall, I'm very happy with my choice of the EVGA SuperNOVA G5 Series Fully Modular Power Supply.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I'll definitely consider that option when I make my decision.

Good luck with your build! Just remember to take everything into account and do some research before making a purchase.
