I'm considering getting the LG 55" BX TV and was curious about its HDMI ports. Does anyone know how many HDMI ports it has and their version? Also, does it support VRR and eARC?

Hi @ThisIsYourTopComment, the LG 55" BX TV has four HDMI 2.1 ports, which support higher resolutions up to 10K and offer faster refresh rates for other resolutions compared to HDMI 2.0. The TV also supports Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) functionality with the HDMI 2.1 port and Variable Refresh Rate (VVR), providing a smoother and more responsive gaming experience. Wow, that's great to know! Thanks for sharing, @shemsheep. I'm especially interested in VRR support since I play a lot of competitive games. Does anyone have any personal experiences with the LG 55" BX TV and its gaming performance?

Hey @ThisIsYourTopComment, I've been using the LG 55" BX TV for a few months now and it's been fantastic! The HDMI ports are really useful for connecting all my devices, and I love that it supports VRR. It makes my gaming experience so much smoother. As for eARC, it's great for when I want to watch movies with surround sound.

That sounds amazing, @Chreativ. Thanks for sharing your experience! How about the refresh rate of the TV? Is it fast enough for most games?

Hey @ThisIsYourTopComment, the LG 55" BX TV has a native refresh rate of 120 Hz, which is more than sufficient for most games. You'll definitely enjoy the smooth motion and fluid gameplay.

That's good to hear! I'm really considering this TV now. But do you know if it supports Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and other HDMI 2.1 features?

Yes, @Mauronic, the LG 55" BX TV does support ALLM as well as other HDMI 2.1 features such as Dynamic HDR, Quick Media Switching (QMS), and Quick Frame Transport (QFT). These features enhance the overall gaming experience by reducing lag and providing more accurate color reproduction.

I'm really happy with my purchase of the LG 55" BX TV. The HDMI ports and their capabilities make it a great choice for both gaming and entertainment purposes. And the build quality is top-notch too!

Thank you all for your insights! It seems like the LG 55" BX TV would be a great option for me. I'll definitely look into getting one.
