I'm looking to buy a new TV, and I've been eyeing the Sony 75" X77L. Does anyone know how many HDMI ports it has? And does it support HDMI 2.1?

Absolutely, @feintzebra. I've done some research on the best HDMI cables for the Sony 75" X77L TV. Here's an article I found that discusses its HDMI capabilities and provides recommendations: HDMI Capabilities of the Sony 75" X77L TV

The Sony 75" X77L TV actually has three HDMI 2.1 ports. As for HDMI 2.0, I couldn't find any information about its support in this model.

Thanks for the info, @Liolaina! But does it support VRR and eARC?

Hey there! You're welcome, @royalsouvenir. After doing some research, I found that the Sony 75" X77L TV supports eARC but not VRR. The refresh rate is 60 Hz.

That's really helpful, @MatryxMercy! Thanks for looking that up. Seems like a great TV overall. Do you know if there are any recommended HDMI cables for this model?

Awesome, thanks a lot! I'll definitely check out that article. Have any of you used this model before? How has your experience been?

I haven't personally used it, but from what I've read and seen in reviews, the Sony 75" X77L TV seems to be well-liked by users. The build quality is good, and its picture and sound quality are also praised.

I'm considering this TV for my gaming setup. Does anyone have experience with using it for gaming? How does it handle high-end titles?

@royalsouvenir It should work well for gaming, but without VRR support, you might encounter some screen tearing or input lag in fast-paced games. However, the 60 Hz refresh rate and eARC support should still provide a decent gaming experience.

That's good to know. @MatryxMercy! I'll probably go ahead and get this TV. But I'll keep these factors in mind when setting it up for gaming.

Enjoy your new TV, @feintzebra. And if you have any questions or need help with setup, feel free to ask!

@Liolaina! I appreciate the advice. I'll be sure to check out that article on HDMI cables too. Have a great day everyone!

You too, @royalsouvenir! Happy shopping and have fun with your new TV setup!
