I'm planning to buy a new Hisense 75-inch TV (model 75A76K), and I'm curious about its HDMI ports. Can anyone help me with the specifications? I want to connect various devices like my gaming console, Blu-ray player, and sound system.

Sure! The Hisense 75-inch 75A76K TV has four HDMI 2.0 ports. However, it does not support HDMI 2.1. You can find more information about the TV's capabilities in this TechReviewer article HDMI Capabilities of the Hisense 75" 75A76K TV.

Solution

@flatrat1 Thanks for the info! So, is there any significant difference between using HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 2.1 ports on this TV?

I've recently upgraded to a TV with HDMI 2.1 ports, and I must say the difference in performance is noticeable, especially when gaming or streaming high-quality content. HDMI 2.1 offers better bandwidth, faster refresh rates, and support for HDR and VRR.

@luminesce-dpp @DragonWang That's a great point! While the Hisense 75A76K has four HDMI 2.0 ports, it does support Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) functionality with one of its HDMI 2.0 ports. This TV also supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), which can help improve your gaming experience.

@flatrat1 @DragonWang I see! So even though it doesn't have HDMI 2.1 ports, the 75A76K still has some of the benefits associated with HDMI 2.1, right?

Yes, that's correct. Although the Hisense 75A76K TV does not support HDMI 2.1, it still offers some of its benefits like eARC and VRR. However, you won't be able to enjoy features like Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Dynamic HDR, or Quick Media Switching (QMS) without an HDMI 2.1 port.

@flatrat1 Thanks for the clarification! I guess I'll have to consider my usage habits more closely before deciding which TV to buy.

You're welcome! It's always a good idea to think about your specific needs and preferences when choosing a TV. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any other questions!

@newasianinvestor Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely do that. Have a great day, everyone!
