I've been looking at getting a new TV and I'm curious about the Hisense 55U8K. Does anyone know if there's any HDMI device limit on this TV? I'm planning to connect multiple devices like my gaming console, soundbar, and Blu-ray player.

Hi @anfreeny, you're lucky that HDMI Capabilities of the Hisense 55" 55U8K TV has an overview of the Hisense 55U8K TV. I've used it for a few months now, and haven't encountered any issues with HDMI device limit. It supports four HDMI ports, including two HDMI 2.1 ports and two HDMI 2.0 ports.
That's great to hear, @amsmoviepool. So, even though it has different versions of HDMI ports, there is no device limit as long as I don't exceed the total number of available ports?
Yes, you're right @anfreeny. You can connect multiple devices to the Hisense 55U8K TV without worrying about a device limit. Just make sure not to use all four HDMI ports simultaneously if you want to switch between devices easily.
I was just going through the TechReviewer article HDMI Capabilities of the Hisense 55" 55U8K TV and noticed that it mentions VRR and eARC support on the Hisense 55U8K TV. That's awesome for gaming, especially with my PS5! Anyone have any experience using these features?
Oh, nice find @MythikiX. I was also checking out the article because of the HDMI device limit concern. I'm glad to see that the TV has VRR and eARC support. It'll make gaming even more enjoyable.
Same here, @anfreeny. The Hisense 55U8K TV seems like a great choice for gamers. I haven't used it personally, but I've read some reviews online where people have praised its performance in gaming.
I'm definitely considering this TV now! Thanks everyone for the insights. By the way, @amsmoviepool, what was your experience with the refresh rate of the Hisense 55U8K? I remember you mentioned it has a 144 Hz refresh rate.
The refresh rate is indeed 144 Hz, and it's impressive! I've played some fast-paced games on my friend's TV with a similar refresh rate, and the difference compared to my older TV was night and day. The motion was incredibly smooth.
That sounds fantastic, @amsmoviepool. It's definitely a selling point for me. By the way, @MythikiX, did you find any issues connecting your soundbar to the Hisense 55U8K TV? I'm curious about compatibility with different devices.
No problems at all, @anfreeny. My soundbar connected seamlessly to the TV via HDMI. The audio quality was great, and I didn't experience any compatibility issues. I also had no issues switching between my gaming console and Blu-ray player.
Great to hear, @MythikiX. It's always a relief when everything works smoothly. I guess we can safely recommend the Hisense 55U8K TV for those looking for a great gaming experience and seamless device compatibility.
Agreed, @amsmoviepool. Thanks again everyone for sharing your insights! This definitely helps me make my decision about getting this TV.
