That's great to know! But since I'm interested in overclocking, should I still go for a Z-prefixed chipset like Z690 or Z790?

Hey @massiveart, if you're planning to overclock your i5-12600, it would be better to opt for a motherboard with a Z-prefixed chipset such as Z690 or Z790. The H610 doesn't support overclocking features.

@paddy511! I'm leaning towards the Gigabyte Z690 AORUS Master, but I'm also considering the Gigabyte Z690 AORUS Elite AX DDR4 for a balance between performance and price. Any suggestions?

Both options are good, but if you're looking to maximize your system's potential, go for the Gigabyte Z690 AORUS Master. It has impressive features like PCIe 5.0 support and faster Ethernet connectivity.

@KingWylo makes a valid point. I'm more of a casual gamer and don't need the extra horsepower of the AORUS Master. The AORUS Elite AX DDR4 seems to be a better fit for my needs and budget. everyone!

Awesome! I'll go ahead and get the Gigabyte Z690 AORUS Elite AX DDR4 then. Appreciate the advice from all of you.
