I've been using the G.Skill Aegis DDR4-3000 for a few months now and it works flawlessly in my PC. The effective frequency of 3000 MHz is great, especially for gaming and professional applications. Thanks for sharing your experience, @TyrionBane. I'm also intrigued by the 16 GB capacity, but was wondering if it's sufficient for gaming?

I think it's more than enough for gaming. Plus, you can always upgrade later if needed. But it really depends on how much you multitask and the games you play.

Solution

I appreciate the input. So, what about the latency? Is the CAS Latency of 11 ns (CL16) good or bad?

The 11 ns CAS Latency isn't the best out there, but it's not terrible either. It should serve most people well, especially if you're not doing memory-intensive tasks.

Thanks for the info! I'm leaning more towards getting this G.Skill Aegis DDR4-3000 now. Just wanted to ask one last thing - are the timings (16-18-18-38) okay or could they be better?

The 16-18-18-38 timings are decent, but there are definitely faster options out there. However, these should still provide solid performance for most users.

Alright, I think I'll go ahead and give it a try. Thanks again, everyone!
